This is a Director's Cut of Highlights of my YouTube Movies during the fluorescence workshop in Marsa Shagra Village ; RSDS, Red Sea Diving Safari, Egypt; from 8.-23. May 2015.

I had the opportunity to test a scooter at the fringing reef, north, during the day and in the bay during the night.
It contains also information about the scientific possibilties of the underwater fluorescence. The main aim is to demonstrate that surveys with HighPower fluorecence torches allows to estimate the status of a coral reef. This is important in the context of this endangered biotope worldwide.
My plans for the next future are surveys of the reef over a long distance during night dives with fluorescence with a scooter. With my HighPower fluorescence torches it should be possible to check the status of reefs worldwide, since this is an effective alternate to Reef Checks during the day. Reef Checks during the day are practized worldwide.
This method ; HighPower fluorescence torches in the night with a scooter; allows in short time to detect endangered corals, the distribution of different species, recruits and young coral blocks in development. I performed already a survey of the fringing reef during a night dive with fluorescence in Sept. 2013 ;see link on my WEB-page NEWS; http://www.uni-due.de/fluodives; English and German version. We have done this in 2013 without scooter.
Details of the project you will find on my homepage http://www.uni-due.de_fluodives under NEWS. There I will describe in detail the advantages of surveys during night dives with a scooter. A survey with scooter and 3D camera ;SVII Camera; has been performed by http://catlinseaviewsurvey.com To my knowledge nobody so far has done a systematic reef check during the night with fluorescence and scooter.
Watch also my two other movies, where Cyril Cholley ;PADi Instructor from Marseille; and me are seen in a further training at the fringing reef ;Saumriff Nord in May 2015 and my planned project.
I invite factories of scooters and diving bases to support our project.
